Activities

Among your activities you will:

Prepare and conduct interviews

Review songs and movies

Plan activities for family and friends

Find a way to contribute to society

Being a Bar Mitzvah means undergoing growth on different levels; individually, physiologically, socially, psychologically. Therefore, the Activities in the program are varied, to reflect the different ways to experience change and to learn. You are expected to pay attention, whether the study materials are text, music or video. The goal of the program is not simply to pass on information, it is our mission to help you take these first steps on your journey to being a responsible, thoughtful, knowledgeable and happy adult. Once an activity is completed, you will present them to your mentor and, after final review, you will submit them via email to the program. The quality of your work will reflect how ready you are to take this step into early adulthood (Don't be so concerned; it is not all hard work. You might even have some fun.)

As in life, some activities are more easily performed with others while some are better suited to be done individually. Remember: You can enlist the help of others, but don't expect them to do the work for you.

All Activities are mandatory.
